Every village in Pakistan has a well. People get drinking water from it. Generally it is situated in the center of the village. It is made of pucca bricks. There is a platform round it. Water is drawn by means of buckets.
We see a crowd of people at the well in the morning and evening. All come to draw water. They sit around it for their turn. Women are seen coming and going with their pitchers on their heads. Some take bath at the well. Some wash their clothes.
