DIGNITY OF LABOUR/ WORK:

It is famous saying "Hard Work is a Key to Success". Actually is also true "where there is a will there is a way". Those nations who work hard get famous in the world.
Dignity of work means to understand the importance of work and labour. Every one should realize the dignity of labour and work. Our Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) love doing work for him self. He repaired his shoes, mended and washed his clothes and swept his room.
When the mosque of Medina was under constructions, he carried mud and building material. During the Battle of Khandaq, he joined his companions in digging the ditch outside Medina.
The companions of the holy prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) also followed the noble example. Hazrat Abu-Bakar not only did his own work but also carried water for widows and neighbors who were very old and had no one to work for them, Hazarat Umar once carried on his shoulders a large sack of floor for n needy family. Hazarat Ali worked in the garden of a jew. Hazarat Fatima used to do all her household work by her self. At table Mammon-Ur-Rashid served not only himself but also his guests. Sultan Nasiruddin made caps for his living. Aurangzeb also earned his living by copying the Holy Qur'an.
In china, every one has to spend some time each year working in the field, or in factory. Even the Prime minister and his wife do this work. In the other advanced countries like USA, Great Britain etc. Every one knows the dignity of labour and that is why they getting quick progress. We should real the dignity of labour and try to serve our country in the best way as we can do.
