Women rights in Islam

Holy prophet (S.A.W) said,

“Among you the most respectable is the one who respects women and the most disrespectable is the one who disrespect the women.”

The above instruction of holy prophet (S.A.W) declared the ground of honor and respect for a person in Deen-e-Islam .Islam gave women an honorable life and ignite the light of rights in her life. Before Islam women were extremely deteriorated by the society. Arabs used to bury their daughters alive, wives were harshly beaten, step mother became legacy of eldest son and the sisters were given as a compensation for any sin of her family. Islam abolished all these dark practices and made the paradise under the feet of mother, guaranteed paradise to a father who brought up her daughters with love, assured paradise to the husband who care her wife and made sisters partners in the inheritance. Today Muslim woman is facing problems not because of lack of her rights in Islam but due to the male driven and illiterate society. Islam promised women respect, honor and safety before and more than any other religion, civilization and moderation. Islam gave women all rights to women before 15 centuries which any one can expect in today’s highly modern world.

ROLE OF BANK IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT:

Commercial bank play very vital role in the economic development of a country. The economic signification of commercial banks given below.

1.                 Bank promote capital formation:

Commercial banks play an important role in rising of the financial resources. They encourage saving by giving various types of incentives to the saver. They expend branches of commercial banks in rural and urban areas. These savings are made available to the businessman. Which make use of them for productive purposes in the Country.

INFLATION IN PAKISTAN

Inflation has been gradually building up for the last one or two cedes. It is not restricted to a few countries; it is a world wide phenomenon. Its reasons and caues are so numerous that it is scarcely possible to write all of them down here in a short essay. At most, only a sketchy account of inflation can be given and that too in relation to Pakistan alone.

THE PRIZE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION AT OUR SCHOOL:

Our school holds a prize distribution function at school annually. It is the est event in the school. The teacher and the students make a great contribution to make the event a success.
the students make rehearsals and preparations for the annual prize distribution function. The function includes songs, debates, skits, speeches, etc. Beside them, all the ranker students are given prizes.

A BOOK FAIR:

Last Sunday I had a chance to visit a book fair arranged by oxford university press at Karachi cant station. I reached there with my two friends who have fond of reading Books. It was brilliant book fair, the books were arranged according to their subjects on different stall. Different rates of discount were given on different books. We went to the stall of general history where different book  were presents. 30% discounts was given to the books of general history. I bought a set of general history written by Arnold Toynbee.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER:

The sixteenth century proverb "Knowledge is Power" is a true today as it was in the past. In fact, it is knowledge that distinguishes man from animals. Man has the ability to acquire knowledge, preserve it in books and thus pass it on to coming generations. This has given him the power to control the forces of nature and use them for his benefits. It is however, necessary for man kind to use this knowledge and power wisely. If we use our knowledge wisely, we can create a better and safer world than the world of today.

MY FAVORITE T.V PROGRAM:

Television is electronic media and different kinds of program are broad cast from television transmissions. Many dramas, singing shows, interviews and both English and Urdu movies are broadcasted through cable.
Different people choose a T.V program according to their interest, Some people like games and sports, some only watch the news on television, some are fond of dramas.

MY HOBBY:

A hobby is a special work which a person does for the sake of his amusements. A hobby is generally
 an art in which a person is most interested. There are numerous hobbies. Some are found of signing, other like to draw pictures. Some collect stamps and old coins etc.

PATRIOTISM:

Patriotism is a feeling of love for one's own country. It is a desire to serve the country in all conditions. This love is so deep rooted that man can easily sacrifices his life and all hiss wealth for the land of his birth. This is love is not like the one that person has for another person, the love of one's own country is unchangeable.
Patriotism is a great force. It brings the people of a country closer. It makes them have common aims. Patriotism is a quality of high virtue. A man who has no love foe this country is considered without soul.

A COLLEGE FUNCTION:

Functions are part of college traditions. In some functions old and new students come together. Annual functions are generally held at the end of the academic year. This year the annual function in our college was in the last week. Special cards were printed for inviting the guests and the ex-students. It was three day program. The first day was reserved for English and Urdu speeches. on the first, the principle of the college presided the function. The topic of English debate was "Atmospheric Pollution" Irfan the student of B.s.c. part 1, got the first prize.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (I.T):

Computer is the most modern invention of Science. It is an electronic device which is useful in many ways. Computer Technology is being used throughout the world in every field of life.  This is the age of Science. Technical education is very important today. New technologies are appearing all the time.
The study or use of electronic equipment, specially computer, for storing, analyzing and sending out  information is called "INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY"....

UNITY, FAITH, DISCIPLINE:

"Unity, Faith, Discipline" these are three words Quaid-e-azam  Muhammad Ali Jinnah gave us. Unity is a great force. a house is united is a strong force. We know the story of the dying old man who gave the lesson of unity to his sons with the help of a number of sticks "Faith" mean firm believe, the Muslims are have their faith in ALLAH. They believe the supremacy of ALLAH and their faith provides them a power which leads them toward the unity.
 Discipline means to pass life in well organized manner. Discipline is necessary in every field in life. It is a system of commands and performance of work, regularity and compliance of orders. There are following kinds of Discipline.

MY FAVORITE BOOK:

I have read many books, So I think a good book is a good friend and you may pass your time with a good friend. I have many books on different subjects. The reading of a book provide more knowledge therefore it is said that a good book is a good friend.
Different people have different reading taste, but it is necessary for choosing a book which gives great knowledge about the matter what you need, therefore it becomes friend.
I read books on different subjects, but I like English fiction.

THE WONDERS OF COMPUTER:

This is an age of Science. It is brought a revolution every where. There are many modern inventions of Science which are being used throughout  the world. Computer is one of the modern invention of Science. It is an electronic device which works as human mind. It can be used for many purposes according to its programming.
Now days computer are being used in every field of his life some important purposes and uses of computer are following:

• It is used in offices to keep the records and calculations.
• It is used in different shops for the purpose of calculations and making reports of purchases and sales.
• It is used in schools, colleges and Universities for doing examinations work and for teaching the students.

ELECTRONIC MEDIA AND ITS ADVANTAGES:

Electronic Media has become very strong these days. Electronic media is free today. People pay attention to electronic media. The electronic media is playing a great role in our country. We have freedom of media recently.
The electronic media brings out the news and views about all the important issues. Electronic media influences the opinions of people. the officials are afraid of media. The try to avoid neglecting their duties.

Electronic media is, in fact, a powerful means of check and balance. It stops corruption.

NEWS PAPERS :

The press or the print media plays very important role in a country and all over the world. It provides information about different events related with the life changes. News Papers, Magazines and other printed reports give a direct effect on the people of a society.
News Paper reading has its own benefits and utilities which may be stated as following:

• It provided current news related with a country and all over the world.
•  It gives knowledge about the government programme and its methods to progress the country.
• News paper reading gives information about later science discoveries and technological changes about any industries.

THE IMPORTANCE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE:

Language is way of conversation and communication among people. English language is spoken in many countries of the world. It is an easy language which is now being spoken and understood throughout the world. It has an ability to absorb new words.

English as a subject is being taught among all the schools, colleges and universities in Pakistan. The medium English is also common for other subjects, it shows that English is popular language. The words of English are also used with other languages.
