This is an age of Science. It is brought a revolution every where. There are many modern inventions of Science which are being used throughout  the world. Computer is one of the modern invention of Science. It is an electronic device which works as human mind. It can be used for many purposes according to its programming.
Now days computer are being used in every field of his life some important purposes and uses of computer are following:

• It is used in offices to keep the records and calculations.
• It is used in different shops for the purpose of calculations and making reports of purchases and sales.
• It is used in schools, colleges and Universities for doing examinations work and for teaching the students.
• Computer are also used in making drawings, pictures and photographs.
• Computers are also used in department of police and army for the purpose of making their secret plans.
• Computers helps in scientific laboratories to provide the information.
• Computers are being used for personal purposes at every home.

On looking, a short view about the uses of computers it is cleared that computers are playing their role in helping mankind in every field, so these are wonders of computers The importance of computers is also be under stood on considering its great uses.
Many private institutions are also working to educate computer programming and hardware courses with the efforts of government. Shorts courses about computer literacy are also being introduced in Pakistan. In future, the computer education will become in part of our normal education and every one will be able to operate his personal computer easily.
