The Muslims celebrate two Eids, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha every year. both are happy and holy days. Both are days of rejoicing and prayer.
Celebrations of both Eids commences weeks ahead. After sighting the moon, Muslims throughout the world start their preparations of Eid. Houses are cleaned or colored and washed. New attires are purchased for every family member. New shoes, caps and socks are brought. Shopkeepers decorate their shops to attract prospective purchaser and business.
The Muslims throughout the world rejoice on Eid day. They take early bath, put on their new cloths and go to Eid Gahs, Mosques or open fields to offer Eid prayer.
After the prayer they embrace each other. After returning home they spend the whole day in visiting their relatives and friends. Every where they go they are offered sweet dishes.
Children, Young girls and women wear bright clothes. Children receive eidee from their elders. The whole day of Eid is full of joy for every Muslim. On Eid-ul-Azha, the Muslims sacrifice an animal like cow, goat, or camel in the name of ALLAH and distribute the meat to relatives, Neighbors and others.
