Last Sunday I had a chance to visit a book fair arranged by oxford university press at Karachi cant station. I reached there with my two friends who have fond of reading Books. It was brilliant book fair, the books were arranged according to their subjects on different stall. Different rates of discount were given on different books. We went to the stall of general history where different book were presents. 30% discounts was given to the books of general history. I bought a set of general history written by Arnold Toynbee.
We visited the stall where the books on science were placed. 20% discount was being given n those books. I bought cosmos written by Carl Sagan and a brief history of time written by Stephen Hawking from there. Then we visited the stall of containing religious books. My friend bought on English translation of the Holy Qur'an from that stall.
We visited the whole books that were placed in the book fair and in the last we went towards the section of reference books and dictionaries. 15% discount was available. I bought Advanced learner;s dictionary from there. After purchasing some other books on Philosophy and English literature we returned home but I enjoyed a lot that book fair.

ReplyDeleteI am also fond of reading and attend every book fair in Karachi. Now, i am waiting for Karachi Literature Festival 2019 which will be held on 1st, 2nd and 3rd of March 2019.
