Last Sunday, I went to football stadium to seen the final match of the district football tournament. It was played between youngster's club and the city star's club. Both the teams were strong. A large crowd had come to witness the match.
The players entered the field, The youngster's club team were in Green Jersey and Green shorts were city star's club team in White Jersey and White shorts. They look up their positions. The referee whistled and the game started.
As soon as the ball kicked off, the forwards to get The both sides burst into action. Both sides made all efforts to get control of the ball. The city star's club made some very good and threatening moves but their rivals were vigilant.
A few minutes after the start, star's center-forwards Imran received a beautiful cross from the out side left, and with a powerful shot sent the ball to the youngster's club goal. But the goal keeper foiled the attempt. The star's continued making combined moves but the youngster's club defenders proved equal to the task. No team could score a goal in the first half of the game.
After the half time,youngster's club played an aggressive game. They scored three goals. Some minutes before the close of the match the city star's club mad great efforts to fight back. This time it was their captain who displayed fine form. He scored two goal just before the final whistle. The youngster's club won the match by 3-2.
